If you’re looking for a way to monetize your content then HubPages is just what you need.


Like Squidoo, HubPages hosts your content for free and share revenue with you from Adsense, Amazon and Ebay sales. Unlike Squidoo, HubPages are not keen on blatent advertising! If your hub is just an advertisement… forget it, it will get flagged and removed.

Tagged is a social networking site that has become very popular. Started by Greg Tseng in 2004, Tagged started out as a social networking site for teens with a bit of a media twist to it. However, the site has since become popular with a wide age range. The site offers some features not found on the usual sites.


Tagged provides a fun, safe, and exciting environment for people to showcase their personalities and talents, and to connect with friends and meet new ones. Tagged offers the standard social fare, including photo and video sharing, online games, and widgets from slide, not to mention a “meet me” function based entirely on one’s sexual orientation.


Features not found on the usual sites include celebrity look-alike contests, confessions, and of course tagging your friends. Members earn “money” for joining, making friends and sending invites to friends, which one can use to buy “pets”.

Back end sales are sales that come after the main sale has taken place. They are often referred to as ‘One Time Offers’ I’m sure you will have seen offers like this before.


These offers appear after a main sale, when, once you’ve placed your order, you’re taken to another page that offers you an upgrade to your product or a companion product for an additional price.

Your vision is unique to YOU. You see things that others don’t and can’t see. You can propose ideas to your prospects and customers that your competition has never even dreamed of. The ONLY problem you really have is to get your customers to share your vision. When they do, you have connected a dot. When they share YOUR vision, your dots are connected, as well as their dots.

Should Everyone Use Social Media?


When a person first decides to become an online marketer, they’re bombarded from the right and left with advice about what they should do. These "should do’s" include build a website, sell affiliate products, create your own product, grow a list of subscribers, put content on your site, do article marketing, get on Facebook, and start tweeting on Twitter.


It’s enough to make your head spin, isn’t it? Some marketers can do these things, but they spend every moment trying to keep up AND be successful with all of it.


Then there are the offline businesses. Of course, the big guy can afford to pay people to specialize in the different aspects of their online presence. Then there’s the little guy, the one who does it all, who doesn’t have the time (and possibly doesn’t have the desire) to do it all. But because they’re told they "should do" these things, including social media, they either don’t do it effectively or they have no time left to do their actual offline business.


I’m talking about the gal who does manicures and pedicures or the guy who does landscaping jobs. If they are in the business they’re in because they love doing it and they’ve already got a good customer base, then why ask them to take time away from doing what they love just so they can tweet?


While social media can help many businesses, I just don’t think it’s for everyone, whether you have an offline or online business. Even if you’re an online marketer, you only have so much time in the day and you have to decide which is the best marketing avenue for you. Don’t feel guilty if you’re not "On The Twitter" (as Betty White says in a commercial.)
