Who “DID” It?

Alex Jeffreys told me that I MUST do a Daily "Did" Sheet!

What for I thought…I know my mind’s slipping…but I CAN remember what I did in the last 12 Hours..most days anyway icon smile Who DID It?

What he was trying to tell me, was that I was probably wasting a lot of time each day doing UN-productive things!

Now I wish he had shown me this 8 Years ago, when I first started online……that way I could have been allocating my time to more productive things, the ones that pit the MOOLA in the Bank!

Seriously, make up a Daily "Did" sheet and try it yourself.

For example, here’s how mine "used" to look:

1. Check Emails – 30 Mins
2. Write & Schedule Ezine – 45 Mins
3. Check Emails – 15 Mins
4. Check out some offers from the above emails – 40 Mins
5. Daily Exercises – 60 Mins
6. Check Emails – 15 Mins
7. Shower – 20 Mins
8. Check Emails – 10 Mins
9. Breakfast – 10 Mins
10. Chat On Skype – 40 Mins
11. Post Ads – 40 Mins
12. Write Posts For Blog – 60 Mins

…and so on, you get the picture, right?

Until I started doing my Daily "Did" Sheets, I thought I was being "productive"…after all I was spending 9 Hours or more each day working online.

But…how much of that time was actually "productive" How much money had I made? Could I have allocated my time to to something that "WOULD" have put money in the bank?

Well you know the answer already don’t you….YES!!!

Checking emails was one of my biggest time wasters! I’m not saying checking emails isn’t important, especially with my businesses, which rely a lot on customer support. You see, I don’t like keeping customers waiting for an answer…in fact a lot of my customers get blown away with the fast response and often comment on it saying things like;

"Wow, I didn’t expect to hear back from you for a couple of days….."

That’s what they are used to..but Not from ME! I built up my business, by offering GOOD customer support. But when I added up the time I was spending on emails, it was HALF my day gone…which was Crazy and unnecessary. After all if a person gets a response to an email within 24 Hours…that’s still good support I am offering…right?

I’m still checking my emails on a regular basis, but I’m spending no where near as much time as I used to. Eventually, I will trim the time spent on them even more.

Now, I’m using the time I’ve saved on doing something more productive …like "Listbuilding" training with Alex Jeffreys and a Social Networking Course with Bob-The-Teacher.

The time I’m spending training with these two Guy’s "IS" productive. The things I am learning from them are going to play a BIG Role in how I build and expand my businesses in 2009!

So how much time can YOU Save?

Do a Daily "DID" Sheet and post your results in the comments box below…I would love to know:)

    Hi Paul

I’ll have to get back to your blog and watch that free video on getting traffic.

I would also be interested in hearing what you are doing now to get your traffic, if it’s not a secret:)

That’s what I really need to get to work on, driving Traffic. I have put you a few things in motion, but they are taking time to setup.

My biggest tool will be using Video Marketing and TrafficGeysar. They also have a great Plugin that will automatically submit my Blog Posts to ALL of the Social Network sites, so that should be interesting too.

I’m also doing a course on Twitter. I know it’s a pretty simple tool, but I want to learn how to use it correctly because it really is a great List Builder.

Any other suggestions you may have worldly be gratefully appreciated)

“Traffic King” ? I like that, but you may need to change the name if you are going to Brand yourself with a name like that….I think that one is already taken!

    Take Care
