A man is interviewing a short list of three people for a position.

He wants to throw in a common sense question as a further test of wider knowledge, so he thinks on if for a few minutes, and then begins the interviews.

The first interviewee is a red head.

After successfully completing the standard questions he asks her how many ‘d’s there are in Indiana Jones.

Without pausing, the redhead answers "one".

The man thanks the redhead and lets her know that he will be in contact soon.

The second interviewee is a brunette.

After successfully completing the standard questions he asks her how many ‘d’s there are in Indiana Jones.

Without pausing, the brunette answers "one".

The man thanks the brunette and lets her know that he will be in contact soon.

The third interviewee is a blonde.

After successfully completing the standard questions he asks her how many ‘d’s there are in Indiana Jones.

The blonde pauses, looks into the air and starts quietly counting.

She starts with the fingers on one hand, then moves on to counting the her second hand.

After a brief amount of time the blonde asks if the man has a calculator.

He looks at her in disbelief and hands a calculator to her.

SHe continues to calculate until finally she provides a total of 40.

The man stares at her in disbelief, and after a minute asks how she came to a total of 40.

The blonde starts humming the Indiana Jones theme (dah dah dah dah, dah dah dah….).
