If You Want It Bad Enough…
|
Creating your own product can rake in the big bucks, but you can also successfully market products created by others, either as an affiliate (earning a commission on your sales) or by purchasing resell rights. You can even use a product with Private Label Rights (PLR), after rewriting it and giving it your own unique ‘voice’. Before you DO anything though, you MUST find a niche. Think about topics you are knowledgeable about or are interested in, and then begin researching. What should you be looking for? What people are talking about within the niche? What questions are they asking? Which problems are they looking to solve? What are their wants, needs, desires? Then you can decide whether or not to create a new product or if you are going to sell an existing product. Next you’ll need to buy a domain name and hosting and then… create a website. A simple website without bells and whistles will keep your prospects focused on your information. Make sure to offer a valuable freebie, such as a report, an ebook or mini course, in exchange for a prospect’s name and email address; then even if they don’t buy now, you can market to them until they do (or until they unsubscribe!). You will need to run a targeted marketing campaign. Make a plan and follow it step-by-step. Write articles about your chosen niche and submit them to article directories – this will bring more visitors to your website. Find ezines in your niche and buy some ads – solo ads are good value for money. Just make sure you buy from a reputable source. Stay on course with your plans and build momentum for your business.
