When you have a sufficient amount of backlinks, then you can start optimizing in page links, keyword density and other factors which affects your ranking.

Thanks for your comment. You are right, getting a good amount of quality backlinks to your site, is a very important part of getting good search engine rankings.

I have been tweaking this blog using the information taught in Sean Donahoe’s (The Manic Marketer) ‘Special Reports’, and I am now starting to see some good rankings from Google.
