Do Free Traffic Methods Suck?
|
Free – you gotta love this word. After all, the word "free" is definitely one positive, motivating, captivating word for online marketers. We use it when we want to get people to subscribe to our lists – by giving away something of value, for free. In turn, we will subscribe to other marketers’ lists just to get a hold of what they’re giving away for free.
We also like the word free when it applies to traffic methods. You will notice there are many, many marketers paying attention to free ways to bring traffic to their sites. Getting tons of free, organic traffic to your site is like hitting the Exacta at the horse races. We know the more traffic we get, the more sales we can potentially make.
Having the choice to market our online businesses for free is quite an alluring option, especially if we don’t have the money to spend on traditional marketing methods. But do free traffic methods work, or do they suck
There’s article marketing, posting on forums, commenting on blogs, backlinking, guest posting, social media, ad swaps, free classified ads, Squidoo, and so on.
There are so many factors involved here – what niche you’re in, how well you can write articles, how helpful your comments are, your time invested, how you structure your ad swaps, how often you do any of it, etc. – that some can really do the trick for you and others turn out to be a complete waste of time.
Here’s your chance to tell me what success you’ve had with these free traffic methods. Is there one in particular that has totally bombed for you? One that you would recommend above all others based on your experience?
Don’t tell me what the Gurus tell you to do, tell me what you’ve discovered in the trenches.
When you do, I’ll send you a link to watch my 27 Minute video that will reveal right before your eyes, each one of the steps I take to get a new website or any website, traffic within 24 hours. You can watch as I demonstrate this all for you, so you can easily duplicate this step over and over.
