Alex Jeffreys Offers a $1,000 Comtest!
Build it and they SHALL Come!
Yeh, right…it might have worked for Kevin Costner in his movie "Field of Dreams" but when it comes to Internet Marketing, it’s a different story!
With 185,167,897 sites on the internet as of November 2008…simply building your website is NOT enough. You might have the BEST looking site out their…but unless you TELL people you have "Built" it, they will never know!
So, how DO you TELL people about your website, how do you get TRAFFIC to it?
Well, that’s a subject we covered on Alex Jeffreys training class last night…Module # 4
In Module # 1 we covered the basics of what the training course was going to be about.
In Module # 2 we setup our "Profit Pulling Platform" which builds our list of prospects.
In Module # 3 we discussed the importance of Blogging…how to create a Niche and how to setup our Blog. By the way, just in case you’re thinking of setting up a blog of your own…you can get one done FREE at Ninja Blog Setup…. all you have to do is signup for webhosting through one of his recommended Web Hosting Companies.
THIS blog was setup by Ninja last week and so far I done NOTHING to get traffic to it, apart from submitting an article to a couple of directories.
It’s not my first blog, I did make a feeble attempt about a year ago, but to be honest, I could never get my head around this Web.3.0 stuff and just carried on doing what I had had been doing for the last 8 Years….and we all know what that means don’t we…
"If you continue to do what you’ve always done, you will continue to get what you’ve always got".
So, if I want to reach my goal of making 100K in 2009…it’s out with the OLD and IN with the NEW...Advanced Social Marketing …blogging, video marketing, facebook, listbuilding, branding, ad copy writing, article marketing…and more.
ALL of the above are going to help me get the TRAFFIC I need to my websites, including this Blog. Thanks to to the "Advanced Social Marketing" course I’m doing AND especially Alex Jeffreys "Marketing With Alex" series of LIVE training classes…I am determined to learn this Web3.0…and you should too!
That brings me back to Alex’s Module # 4…how to get Traffic to your blog!
Last night Alex showed us a great way of getting FREE traffic to our blogs. He even offered $1,000 to the student who could get the MOST traffic to their blog…in the next two weeks.
Now I don’t expect to win this, there are a LOT more of Alex’s students (which I hope to get added to MY blogroll shortly) that have been blogging for sometime and already get a good amount of Daily Traffic.
However, I am going to give it a GOOD go…I am going to put into practice what I am learning. As you can see I have only one comment on this blog so far. Over the next couple of weeks I am going to be sharing with you everything I’m doing and the RESULTS.
Hopefully within a few days of implementing these tactics…we will see a surge of traffic to this site.
So, stay tuned and let the journey begin!

Hi Bill,
Just found your site and have added you to my blogroll.
How’s the traffic plan coming along?!
I have put a post on my blog about traffic tactics that have worked for me so far. One of the best has been Squidoo. I only have one lens on there at present but it has been a high traffic source.
My youtube video has also had a lot of hits and driving traffic to my ppp. I haven’t used twiter to it’s full potential but the tweetmyblog plugin is very effective (details in my post).
Let me know what’s working for you!
All the best
Mark

Hi Bill,
This is my first visit to your “place” as Perry Belcher describes our blogs. Your site is clean looking and easy to navigate, but you might want to check your spelling and correct Alex’s name in the title.
Part of my traffic strategy is to spend an hour a day visiting my fellow class mates and find out what I can learn from them and offer help where possible.
The other thing I’m doing is to create videos for explaining/teaching what I’m doing and for goal setting. Mark mentioned using squidoo and that’s also something I’ve been doing for a while.
Well, that’s all for now. I’ll add you to my blog roll when I get “home”.
See you later,
Theresa

Hi Theresa
Thanks for the nice comment about the site and for the heads up on spelling Alex’s surname incorrectly. I’m just glad that I haven’t got a ton of posts to go through and correct:)
I also plan on spending at least an hour a day visiting other students sites, but won’t have much time to do it over the Christmas break as I am going away for a few days. It will be full steam ahead after Christmas though.
I still have to watch the rest of Alex’s Module 4. I managed to stay for 3 Hours and thought it was about over, but apparently it went for 6 Hours. That’s one helluva training class:)

Hey Mark,
Just a quick reply to thank you for your comments and your tips. You did remind me that I purchased the Squidoo Secrets Training Course a few months ago, but I never got past the first few lessons …I was to busy with other things.
Anyway thanks to your reminder, I have now added, Bob The Teacher’s Free Training course “7 Secrets To Success With Squidoo”
Next step is to create a lens of my own:)
I also posted a longer version of this reply on YOUR Blog.
Thanks again
Bill:)
