So who is Bill Vannot?

Well, my name is Bill Vannot and I’m from Australia. I was born in England, but moved to Australia when I was 19….which was 35 years ago! Yes, I know, that makes me 54 but I still have a few good years ahead of me…I HOPE!

Anyway, I have been working full-time online now for about 8 years and have been fortunate enough to make a decent living from it. When I started out though, I was probably just like many of you…a complete NEWBIE with absolutely NO idea what I was doing oR what I wanted to do.

I joined a couple of programs for about 30 Bucks each…but never really made any money…in fact I was spending more than I was making. Sound familiar?

Then my luck changed, a lady by the name of Marion Stearns emailed me, she was in one of the same programs as me and already had a couple of her own businesses…one of them being AdMistress. We started exchanging emails and then she asked me if I had ever thought about starting and publishing my own Ezine. “You’ve gotta be joking ” …I told her… “I couldn’t write much more than a letter, let alone an Ezine”

She kept on and on at me for weeks, until I finally said “Ok, I’ll give it a try” I think I said that just to stop her from constantly going on about it, but I gave it a try anyway.

From that day on, I never looked back. Marion became my MENTOR and Partner and taught me everything she knew about Ezine Publishing and how to make money from my ezine. My first Ezine, the “Successful Marketing” Ezine” was launched in 2001 and is still published two times a week.

Unfortunately, Marion is no longer with us. Sadly she died in Hurricane Katrina, back in August 2005

I still miss Marion…she was a wonderful lady who would do
anything for anyone. She was my mentor and teacher and I owe everything I have achieved so far…to her.

So…there you have it…my story.

In my next post, I am going to tell you what my plans are for this Blog…and more importantly …what YOU can expect to get out of it…just for coming along for the ride.
