8 Tips to Gaining Control in Your Life For Personal Happiness

 

We really have NO control over many things in our lives. There are a few things we DO have control over. Reflect on these tips occasionally as a vital part of your Personal Happiness Program!

 

There’s a handful of situations in life that we really CAN control. It’s a great idea to occasionally reflect on those areas. If you don’t don’t remind yourself about what they are, you’ll probably waste a ton of time blaming every Tom, Dick and Harriet, for your own personal short-comings.

 

WE Manage What We Try to Control…..

 

If we try exerting too much control in areas we shouldn’t mingle with, the Law of the Universe creates some unusual ways to remind us of our place in life. Understand and prepare yourself to reflect on the things in life that you do control: what you do and HOW you do them.

 

You’re responsible for all of your actions. You’re the one who decides to make your decisions OR not make them…. SO you are solely responsible for the possible effects of those actions, good OR bad.

 

1. What You Say – Always COUNTS!

 

The words that come out of our lips, or type, as in the case of email, are consciously selected by us. Similar to any actions we take, they do have an impact on our personal and business lives, as well as the lives of people we contact and communicate with.

 

2. What You THINK is Critical!

 

Some Sub-Conscious thoughts can’t be controlled. However, things that you really think about, such as your beliefs, ideals, ethics, whatever you think, are concepts you have decided to accept and have faith in. That makes each one of us controlling what we CAN control.

 

3. Your Work Makes a Difference!

 

Some people like to overlook this issue because they feel trapped in a job, maybe because they didn’t go to college, have no real work experience, don’t make or have enough money, and/or a thousand other excuses, for denying one’s responsibilities in having picked the job or duty in the first place.

 

Is it your job? Didn’t you pick it? We all make the choices to stay put or go, if we aren’t fired.

 

4. Who You Associate With =’s The Sum of Your Parts!

 

It’s an absolute FACT that it’s very hard to soar like an eagle…IF you’re surrounded by turkeys.

 

Friends can either help lift you up, or make a choice to bring you down. YOU picked the type of friends you wanted to have, didn’t ‘t you?

 

5. Health… Is Often a Result of Choices!

 

Health is a part of genetics, surroundings and environmental exposure. A lot of our health situations are a matter of choice. ( diet, exercising, taking drugs, how we sleep, go for routine medical and dental check-ups) Your environment is a conglomeration of your home, the condition your home is in, the city you reside in, any job you might have and the benefits made available to you. These things are ALL things you can decide to control, some to a lesser degree so you learn to tolerate them or change locations.

 

6. Your Finances…

 

Having or NOT having enough money is a factor of what you earn compared to what you spend. Finances are difficult to control for many people. Remember, you ARE what you think.

 

7. Your time...

 

You’re the one who figures out how to "spend" your time and how much of your time to spend on activities. You’re never going to get more than the 24 hours that you’re given each day. Lightning your load is always a choice you make….so never blame anyone else.

 

8. WHAT Will Your Legacy Be?

 

Everything… actions, words, and expertise that you share WITH others while you’re ALIVE….. will become the gift of your LIFE, that you’ll leave to the universe, when you’re gone. Strive to Make Better CONTROL Decisions in your life. In the end, that’s really ALL that counts.
