Why Is Viral Video Marketing So Effective ?

The majority of online marketers have used viral video marketing to get where they are today. You name the guru, they’ve done it, by creating a significant amount of hype about a product, using YouTube marketing, or some of the other free video hosting websites, that support online video marketing. You may be asking….

“What does viral mean?”

It’s word-of-mouth marketing, which spreads through various channels like wildfire, like a virus infects communities. It’s nothing new, being used constantly with news media and tabloids. These same viral video techniques were then applied by wise Internet marketers. This led to the development and production of online video marketing.

If you stop and think about it for a moment, the majority of people spend more time watching television than they do reading books, magazines and newspapers. Therefore, with the inception of such websites as YouTube, viral video marketing was bound to become a hit.

There are many great examples, which exist of online video marketing campaigns, which went viral, and as a result, proved to be extremely profitable. Some great examples are notable Internet marketers, like Frank Kern, John Reese and others, who all utilized the power of video in their business video marketing, knowing that these days, people are more apt to watch an actual video than sit and read something.

What exactly makes a video go viral?

All you need to do is think of some of your favorite TV commercials, even the ones that you hate, or love to hate. All the great Super Bowl commercials are great examples of viral marketing. The GEICO gecko, the “Rally’s Cha-Ching” guy, Wendy’s “Where’s the Beef”, etc. were extremely effective and had people talking about the commercial, all the while creating a subliminal references in the individuals’ minds who watched them.

An area of viral video marketing, which is very difficult, is creativity. It isn’t always easy to determine what will become the hook to grab the attention of potential customers. That’s why a good business video marketing course is necessary. With such a course, one can learn how and where to look for ideas, which can turn a video viral and increase popularity. Such courses will show you exactly how to find ways to use videos to create a viral atmosphere, and as a result, create your first viral video marketing campaign.

Without proper guidance to find business video marketing techniques that work, a video may sit there without ever being viewed; however, with the proper training and creativity, it can go hog wild.

Aweber UNLEASHED – 15 Part Video Series

Do you use an autoresponder? More importantly, do you use an Aweber Autoresponder?

If you answered YES, the chances are you’re NOT using their service to its FULLEST extent…

But all that’s about to change…because you’re about to discover 15 super power tactics, for managing your most valuable asset in Internet Marketing!

==>> Your LIST!

Ask anyone that makes a living online and they will tell you, that when it comes to making money in internet marketing, your greatest asset is YOUR LIST!

But almost as valuable as your list, is YOUR TIME!

That’s why, when it comes to managing my lists I use Aweber. Without a doubt, Aweber is the most powerful auto-responder system available online and one that is preferred by most serious marketers.

For example, this week alone I have added over 287 people to one of my lists, 34 to another, transferred 8 people from one list to another and sent out 3 emails, reaching over 3,000 people….each time!

All of the above was done with very little effort, thanks to the automation tools that Aweber provides.

Most people that join Aweber however, only use the very basic services and never take full advantage of this simple, yet incredibly powerful tool! They either don’t know know these tools are their, or they simply don’t know how to use them.

So I have put together a series of 15 detailed videos that will show you how to UNLEASH the FULL abilities of Aweber!

Tips On Forum Posting

What are Forums?

Forums are discussions boards where people congregate on the internet to chat with, share ideas, etc., with people who have similar interests. Forums can be found on just about any subject imaginable, and some you would not!

If you wish to find people interested in a particular subject fourms are an ideal way of finding them.

If you have a business in a particular field, joining forums related to that is a good way to get your word out to a targetted market.

Finding Forums:

Finding forums is usually as easy as doing a search on the main search engines. This will bring up way more than you will need, but to make your time worthwhile, search out the most popular forums for the subject you are interested in. Those with the largest, regular user, memberships, will give your postings the most exposure.

Warrior Forum:

Conquer Your Niche:

Using a Forum:

There are guidelines to be followed to stay in the good graces of the moderators and other users of most forums. It is strongly advised that you read through the rules and guidelines provided for any forum before you join. Find out what their rules are regarding advertising, signature files, etc. to make sure it is worth your while joining.

Once you have found a forum (or forums) which you feel suit your purpose, you will have to register. This is usually easy to do and takes a couple of minutes.

Simply joining a forum and then placing blatant adverts will get you barred swiftly from the majority of forums. However, if you follow a few simple steps you can enjoy the company on the forum and at the same time do a little subtle advertising, which can be very effective.

Your first post should introduce yourself. You are joining a community after all, be polite. Stay on subject in your postings, do not start posting about something completely different. Follow the flow of posts. Either ask intellegent questions about the subject being discussed, offer a valid comment or even answer a question if you can.

In other words, begin to fit in with the community and build a presence within the group. Once others see that you respect their group, and want to fit in with its values, etc., you will be accepted and they will want to know more about you. This is when your membership of forums really begins to pay dividends.

Never blatantly advertise. Many forums allow what is called a signature file which is usually one or two lines which appear at the bottom of any posting you make. Again check what exactly each forum does or does not allow.

Make your signature file interesting, but short. Use a catchy message, usually with only one, or at most two links. If allowed use colours and/ or bold lettering to attract attention. Changing the signature file regularly also attracts attention.

By taking it slowly, and becoming a respected member of the forum, you will find that other forum members will begin to pay attention to your postings, and your signature file. Your postings will build your reputation as knowledgeable on the subject, and they will want to see what you are doing and offering through your links.

Although it may take a little time to establish yourself in a forum, by posting regularly you can fairly quickly become known and accepted and see the results of your efforts.

Are You A Blog Commenter or Comment Spammer

Have you been spending your valuable time writing blog comment after blog comment, only to find them deleted for spam? It’s time to ask yourself if you’re a blog commenter or a comment spammer. By taking the time to add high quality contributions to other blogs, you can ensure that more of your links stick.

To improve your backlinks from blog commenting, you’ll need a site to drive traffic to and a list of blogs that are "Do Follow". You’ll also need to practice leaving comments that are appropriate, but not spammy. The only way your comments will stick and build backlinks, is if they’re high quality and relevant to the discussion at hand – otherwise, it’s a no go.

Every time you place a comment on a Do Follow blog, the owner has the option to either accept your comment into the friendly discussion or nuke it straight to the spam box. If you try to leave a spammy comment the first time you post, you’re sure to end up in the trash bin, never to return. Instead, let’s learn how to gradually build a relationship, and along with it, a network of backlinks.

First, take the time to read the post that you’re commenting on, as well as the comments. This will allow you to actually add something to the discussion when you leave your comment. Nothing is worse than someone who jumps into the comment stream with a non-relevant post, leaves a link, and leaves – this is sure to set off the spam radar.

Secondly, bookmark a few posts on the blog. Add them to social networking sites – bloggers love traffic. As the blogger gets used to seeing your submissions over time, you can begin to add a few comments. Link your social networking profile back to your About page, so that interested parties can learn more about you. This shows that you’re a real person, not an anonymous spammer.

Once your name is familiar, you can start linking back to your own website or blog. Now that you’re a valued member of the community, you’re far less likely to be labeled a spammer. Instead, you’re an active, participating member who’s sharing a useful link.

Lastly, be courteous when you leave your link. Don’t fill your comment with multiple links back to your site or affiliate program. Instead, write a relevant comment. Leave your name or pen name, so that you can build a following and a brand. Keep your link in the relevant field – don’t mess around with anchor text or html code in your comment itself – just link back to your site clearly in the designated area like a professional.

By following these guidelines, you can build a network of high quality backlinks, all pointed at your site. This network of niche links will boost traffic and sales, but it will take some time to build. Have patience when leaving backlinks, and remember that each one will drive traffic to your site for a long time to come.
